Thanks for the overall system data.
Do you happen to have this same data broken down by Bus, Light Rail and
Steetcar (including allocation of system costs)? For your convenience, here
is the overall system data that you provided:

For FY 2002 actuals:
FY02 average weekday fixed boarding rides = 287,400

Annual boading rides = 88,633,200

There are approximately 1.28 boardings per trip.

The average boarding trip is 4.33 miles.

What is your actual cost per boarding? Per trip? Operating cost/boarding
ride = $1.88, operating cost/trip (originating ride) = $2.41

System cost/boarding ride = $2.39, system cost/trip = $3.05

Base data: System costs = $211,681,993, Operating costs = $166,973,479
Annual boardings = 88,633,200 Annual originatings
(trips) = 69,367,200

---------------------------------
Also can you supply fuel consumption in gallons of diesel/gasoline (or
total cost & average price per gallon) for the bus system and electric
consumption in kw-hr (or total cost & average price per kw-hr) for both the
light rail and streetcar? For the same FY 2002.

Thanks
JK
